The DLP’s Victims of Crime Act project (VOCA) provides civil legal assistance to crime victims with disabilities in the State of Delaware. CLASI legal staff assists victims in crime-related matters in which civil legal remedies are available. DLP advocacy will focus on relief for persons who may be victims of physical, sexual or emotional abuse, neglect and financial or material exploitation. Typical advocacy may include training, technical assistance, and legal representation. The VOCA project will assist crime victims with disabilities in New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties. Income eligibility limits will not be imposed on individuals receiving assistance.

This program is funded through the Delaware Criminal Justice Council by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Victims of Crime.
