POVERTY LAW PROGRAM

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICES?
You must have an income that is not more than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. In certain circumstances this limit may be exceeded. The receptionist will you tell whether you are eligible for our services.

HOW DO I APPLY?
Visit the CLASI office nearest you or call the central referral number 1-800-773-0606 and they will connect you to the appropriate office. The receptionist, will ask you for intake information. This is required by our funding sources before we can serve you. If you are eligible for services, and you have a legal problem that we handle, your information will be given to a member of our legal staff who will review it and contact you.

Domestic Abuse:

  • Protection from Abuse Orders
  • Child Custody, Visitation and Divorces for Victims of Domestic Abuse

Family Law:

  • Representation of Parents Who Need Services to Prevent the State from Taking their Children, or to Have Their Children Returned to Them.
Immigration Law:
  • Representation of individuals and families with immigration problems.

CLASI does not handle the following:

  • Criminal Matters
  • Wills
  • Malpractice Cases
  • Traffic Offenses
