We are proud to announce that Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. (CLASI) has once again been recognized as a “Top Workplace” in Delaware by The News Journal.
This marks the ninth time in the past 11 years that CLASI has received a Top Workplace honor. CLASI was also the highest-ranked nonprofit in the small company category.
The Top Workplace awards are based on anonymous employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey about workplace culture administered by Energage, LLC.
The award is a testament to our staff’s outstanding dedication to supporting their clients and their colleagues, including the efforts of our Creating Community & Belonging Committee to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace at CLASI.
“What makes me proudest about this recognition is what it says about how our staff experience this organization,” says CLASI Executive Director Dan Atkins. “I want our employees to feel well cared for, respected, and invested in—not simply because it is the right thing to do, but because our people are our most important resource.”
“Our staff does incredibly difficult work every day. They stand beside people facing some of the most challenging circumstances of their lives, bringing compassion, expertise, persistence, and commitment to that work, day after day. That takes a lot,” says Atkins.
