Recent threats of violence aimed at the Siegel Jewish Community Center (JCC), the deportation of members of the area Hispanic community, racial tension in the African American community, and racial profiling in the Muslim community are all reminders of the hatred that many in our community face each day. The nonprofit community has planned a Unity Rally to demonstrate that this community stands together as one.
The rally will include religious, civic, and government leaders — and YOU — in sending a clear signal that love always conquers hate and that we in Delaware will not stand quietly in the face of discrimination.
