Delawareans can now check their eligibility for SNAP food benefits using a SNAP eligibility calculator on CLASI’s website. This easy-to-use, mobile-friendly tool shows whether families may be eligible for SNAP benefits, along with the estimated amount of benefits they can expect to receive. The calculator also screens a family’s eligibility for WIC benefits, which provides pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding women and children up to age five with benefits to access nutritious food and other supports.
While the SNAP eligibility calculator can be a useful tool, anyone who has questions about their eligibility or wants to apply for SNAP or WIC should contact the Delaware Division of Social Services by calling its Customer Relations Line at 1-866-843-7212 or visiting https://assist.dhss.delaware.gov/. Individuals who are denied benefits should contact CLASI for help by contacting one of our three offices.
