We are proud to announce that Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. (CLASI) has once again been recognized as a\u00a0\u201cTop Workplace\u201d in Delaware<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0The News Journal<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the ninth time in the past 11 years<\/strong> that CLASI has received a Top Workplace honor. CLASI was also the highest-ranked nonprofit <\/strong>in the small company category.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Top Workplace awards are based on anonymous employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey about workplace culture administered by Energage, LLC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award is a testament to our staff\u2019s outstanding dedication to supporting their clients and their colleagues, including the efforts of our Creating Community & Belonging Committee to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace at CLASI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat makes me proudest about this recognition is what it says about how our staff experience this organization,\u201d says CLASI Executive Director Dan Atkins. \u201cI want our employees to feel well cared for, respected, and invested in\u2014not simply because it is the right thing to do, but because our people are our most important resource.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur staff does incredibly difficult work every day. They stand beside people facing some of the most challenging circumstances of their lives, bringing compassion, expertise, persistence, and commitment to that work, day after day. That takes a lot,” says Atkins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe cannot take good care of our clients if our staff do not feel well cared for themselves. Creating a workplace where people feel valued and supported is not separate from our mission\u2014it is fundamental to it. I am grateful to our entire team for making CLASI the kind of place where talented, committed people want to work and where they can do their very best work. This recognition belongs to all of them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
