Programa de Derecho de la Tercera Edad

The Elder Law Program (ELP) assists individuals aged 60 and older to protect their legal rights and self-determination. We assist them with preserving their income, resources, housing, and health-related benefits and services.

Our Services

We provide free legal services to individuals aged 60 and older with a range of legal matters, including:

  • Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives;
  • Fraud or financial abuse and exploitation;
  • Nursing home discharges;
  • Housing problems, including eviction;
  • Benefits issues such as Medicare and Social Security Retirement.

The Elder Law Program is also responsible for our work on behalf of manufactured housing homeowners (of any age) and homeowner associations to ensure that their rights are protected and enforced.
