Immigration Legal Services

CLASI provides free legal help to immigrants who live in Delaware and are survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, or other violent crime, as well as abused, abandoned, or neglected immigrant children and youth.

We provide free legal assistance in the following areas:

  • U Visa petitions for victims of crime, including domestic violence
  • T Visa petitions for survivors of human trafficking
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) petitions for abused, abandoned, or neglected children and youth
  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petitions for abused spouses and children of U.S. citizens or permanent residents

We also assist immigrants referred through our Medical-Legal Partnership Program with citizenship applications, green card or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) renewals, and renewal applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Get Help

If you think you are eligible for legal help, contact the CLASI office in your county listed below. Please have any notices or papers related to your issue with you, if possible.

If you are not eligible, we will do our best to connect you with other agencies or resources that might be able to help.
